  • Location: Northeast Harbor, Maine

    Full or Part Time: Full Time

    The Public Works Department of the Town of Mount Desert has the following full-time position open and will be accepting applications until the position is filled.  Application forms can be obtained by contacting the Town Office at 276-5531 and requesting one. The starting rate of pay for the position is $28.32 per hour increasing to $29.59 after successful completion of the mandatory probationary period. In addition, the Town also offers an excellent benefits package. The minimum age requirement for the position is 18 years of age and possession of a valid class B driver’s license is required. If the successful applicant does not currently hold a class B driver’s license, they will have six months from date of hire to obtain one.
